About Photography by Anna Kaufman
I picked up my first SLR camera when I was in high school and was instantly hooked. I haven’t stopped shooting since. My early background is in photojournalism, especially focused on sports and news photography. I continued this through university, working part time as a photojournalist and earning a photo minor as part of my studies. After finishing school I started doing wedding and event photography, and found that my photojournalistic experience translated well into wedding and event photography (and that I enjoyed capturing those events just as much as sports and news events). I also love to volunteer as a photographer for several charities.
Born and raised in Southern California, USA, I now reside in Copenhagen, Denmark, spending as much of my free time as possible traveling around Europe.
